Game will be made by Illfonic, the people that made the Friday the 13th asymmetric horror game that was a complete buggy mess at launch and is still a complete shite buggy mess two years later...
Such a great property and idea with potential and based on Illfonic's track record, it's going to waste.

Sony is publishing, so maybe they see something. 
I want this game to be good. Just their track record hasn't been good at all with Friday the 13th and Dead Alliance.

No sure why you are ignoring they have actual money behind their game this time as opposing to doing all the shite off cash raised from Kickstarter like they did with F13th.

Dead by Daylight is a good game. I love the roster of horror film icons they have. I just don't like the gameplay of fixing generators and having the killers put the players on hooks. I loved the gameplay of the Friday the 13th game, it's just a complete mess and has been abandoned mostly.

Have you played the PC version of Friday the 13th? It's a complete mess to this day. Jason bugs out when you do an environmental kill, there are speed hackers all over the place (mainly Russians), the glitch to get to the top of the Packanack lodge is still there and Jason can't kill you once you're on top, you can select your Jason and counselor and sometimes randomly you're put into the game as another you didn't pick, muting someone is only temporary and you'll hear their screeching voices and bad music in a matter of seconds again, etc.
Additionally, I've had the devs of this game try to censor and remove my negative review of F13 and the beta of their failed game Dead Alliance. They flagged them to Steam for being off topic or something like that. Luckily, Steam didn't delete them.

I play on XboxOne and it runs fine. It’s nowhere near the bug fest it was when it first released.

Hopefully it is more like Evolve and Less like Dead By Daylight.
I know the predator is almost unkillable so it favors the DbD scenario, I just hate that whole aspect of helplessness. Evolve at least made you feel like you had more of a chance.

I never played Evolve but I thought it was panned? Yeah, the Predator should be killable. Though it should be difficult. You can kill Jason in Friday the 13th, but it requires a lot of coordination. Your best bet is to be in a pre-made party. Otherwise hope there are competent people with a mic in the game. If it’s just you and a bunch of Russians, people screaming in the mic, etc good luck.

Great concept of a game, fun at first, but got stale pretty quick. I think that format could be expanded on and improved pretty easily. The Predator universe seems like the perfect opportunity to do so.

The F13 game was pretty fun for a couple of months until they completely nerfed Jason. Have not played it in a long time so not sure what state it is in.

Once he hits rage mode you can no longer stun him unless you have a gun or the sweater so the Jason hunting groups have mostly died off.
