Renewal period already passed but I think the second installment is still due soon on installment accounts, so maybe some hope

Waiting list is a scam.
They’ll only call you for the expensive seats that run $5k-$7k for the season.. you need to find someone selling rights; yeah ‘rights’ aren’t really a thing in the Dome, but real world talk you can find people who will transfer their seats to you for a price.. i did this years ago, paid a guy for his seats and i’ve been a season ticket holder ever since.. you can usually recoup what you pay for rights by selling any games you dont go to, like i have to do since i live out of state.. granted this isn’t the best system for getting season tickets, but it is what it is- you can bitch and complain like lots of people do about how unfair it is, or you can become a season ticket holder.. best bets to find people selling rights is craigslist and eBay .

Bought two off the waitlist last year in Sec 643. This was after years of being offered the $3500 per seat variety.
This year is probably the worst year possible to be hoping to be bumped off the list. However, give it a year or two when Brees is gone, and I think you'll find it much easier.
Your best bet right now is buying game to game on ticket exchange, on CL, or in person. Did that for years. There might be 1 or 2 games a season you need to pay more than face value for, and that's during a winning season. In losing seasons, its easy easy easy to find face value or below for tickets.

I got in the uppers last year off the list but had to buy two singles in the same section. Was hoping to get two together with an upgrade but as others have said I think all of the singles sold out this year. They had near 100% renewal.

Why is it a scam?
Ive had tickets since 03 in the 600s and they are only 650 a piece this yr. Why would i give those up back to the saints. The reason the waiting list gets tickets for 3500 is bc thats all they have when the tickets arent renewed

I got a poster a pair last year free of charge because I'm a nice guy. I'm just keeping them under my account in case he ever decides not to renew I still have access to them. I would have done the same this year for another friend but it was singles only other than expensive club level seats.

I talked to a rep during the relocation period and said the renewal rate this year was close to 98%. Definitely a very tough year if you're on the waiting list.
