It's around the time the whiskey boom took off. As supply and demand went through the roof, prices rose. Because it takes years to make a good whiskey, distillers could not keep up with demand (you still see it a lot with brands like Blanton's).

Gotcha. Makes sense. How long are Craft beers and whiskey going to boom? I don’t see any slowdown in sight.

Well they had the leak at CBD that the owner never fixed and a few other issues. Someone mentioned the owner of the building was trying to get people to leave because the land was more valuable than what the places were bringing in

Another broken egg, jason’s deli, albasha, ups store, etc. aren’t going anywhere.
Only Tom would find logic in completely relocating vs just sucking it up and fixing a few issues with the existing space himself. Pride can be a bitch. Should have never tried to out wiener swing pelican house and just left the taps in the front room of the cove and they would still be going as they always had been never skipping a beat.
