I know wxactly how much seasoning I use on my first full sack of crawfish. (One 4.5 bag of Louisiana, 4 oz liquid crab boil, soak for 30 min.)
But the next batch is a half a sack...do I need to even add seasoning??... If so, how much?....how long to soak?
Should I just pour it out and cut my seasoning down by half? I have never boiled a second sack, so I am not really sure.

I usually add about 1/2 of what I used in the original boil. Matters not that you are boiling a half sack if the amount of water in the pot is basically the same as the first batch, minus what was soaked up by the first batch of crawfish.

Soak and test as they sit in the boil water to soak until they suit your taste.

If you’re only doing a 1/2 sack for the second batch I’d only add 4oz Liquid Boil. No powder. I do this and it comes out great. I always thought adding more powdered seasoning for a second small batch was better until someone said to try adding liquid only for the smaller second batch. Not nearly as salty
