I re-watched the episode today and I really liked it. It's an absolute masterpiece in terms of cinematography, editing, and music.

The only real gripe I had about the episode itself was the Euron/Jaime fight. I would have rathered Dany/Drogon roast Euron rather than him conveniently wash ashore the moment Jaime is walking underneath the Red Keep. If they both were going to die, what was the point of that scene?

I loved Jon's reaction once he realized he was part of an army that was slaughtering Innocent people. It was everything against his nature and you could feel that in how Kit acted during those moments. Just awesome.

Varys was certainly attempting to poison Dany in the beginning as he tells the girl "we'll try again tonight" after she told him Dany wasn't eating. Crazy. And he, in the end, was right.

And I have absolutely no issue with Dany going scorched Earth/ Mad Queen. This has been brewing since Season 2-3/Clash of Kings/A Storm of Swords. All she had was fear and she choose to instill so much fear into everyone in Westeros that no one ever again would stake a claim to the iron throne.

As a stark, Bran has no claim to the Iron Throne. Just because you are a talking tree, doesn't make you fit to be a ruler.

Why not? Lots of rulers are made of wood.

Did she snap, or was she granting Missandei's last request?

question, sorry if it has been answered earlier in the thread. But was the white horse Arya got on at the end of the episode the white horse that the leader of the Golden Compass was on? If so, they clearly showed that horse dead. so, is Arya actually dead or did Bran do something to the horse? or is it a different horse all together?

It was a different horse. Had different reins and no saddle. irl, yes it was probably the same horse though.

I have a question but don’t want to start a new thread. I went down an Alt shift X rabbit hole tonight and watched a bunch of videos ( I haven’t read the books). Are Howland Reed and the Crannogmen basically Cajuns? They call them mud people and they eat frogs and basically live in a swamp and are short. Thought it was kind of odd that Reed was basically a choot em Clint kind of guy.

Yeah, after 21-0, Howland Reed was broken and has been in exile ever since.

Don't forget that their "city" is a floating one in the marsh that no one can find who doesn't know where it is. That's right, they're a bunch of short, frog-leg eating conasses that live in a giant houseboat city.
