It’d be mostly an eff u for the AD embarrassment and destroying their franchise but it would Also be partly that he’d do a decent job as well.

So... in the midst of your biggest downfall and at the time when your team needs a miracle to salvage it from utter embarrassment, you would make a decision to hire a guy primarily because you want to be petty?

I saw people on twitter laughing at the Lakers over this, but to me it seems like they've decided they've reached their limit on how far they'll go to please LeBron which I think is probably a good thing for them.

I hate LeBron with a passion and he would ruin any semblance of a legit front office running things. And I love jrue. And I'd hate the fanbase LeBron would bring our team. But frick yeah.
Problem is, people would think AD + LBJ would bring in some legit FAs, but I really think that most players don't want much to do with James.
