Threads not updating

I've noticed over the last few days threads are going 5-7 minutes without updating. Is it time for new hamsters?

A few minutes will pass by where no threads on the OT update. Then all the sudden the entire page will update and there'll be a couple new threads and the other threads would have 3-5 new responses.

I don’t use any of my alters anymore. Mostly because they’re all banned but also because I don’t want to be banned again.
And my wife really does have an account but hasn’t used it yet.

I refresh it manually. It doesn't happen all the time but I do notice it at least 2 times a day.
