You've never seen a good golfer have an ugly swing? My uncle has one of the ugliest quick half-swings I've ever seen, and he has almost no distance, but he's an 8 handicap. He hits the ball where he wants, doesn't make big mistakes and is great around the green. Ugly swing =/= brutal golfer.
I'd venture to say a guy who has Obama's type of access could manage to have a great short game even if he isn't "athletic" enough to have a beautiful swing with his irons. I really don't see what point you're trying to make.
