My friend played on the hoops team at mtn brook. This entire year he has said Watford was going to Memphis or Duke. I still think he comes to LSU since he delayed his announcement date the day after Wade is reinstated. Watford is also friends with Javonte Smart.

I've heard from almost everyone that knows him well he's not going to Indiana. Nate Oats has recruited him hard. I think he was going to commit to Duke at the JBC. But I think Wade being reinstated changes the game completely

Wade was confident he was coming back and stayed in contact with Warford. All the Memphis smoke was due based just off of speculation, not any facts or anything Warford told anyone. Take it how you want

I think we end up with Watford and lose Quinones. We’ll either go after 2 grad transfers or a Juco and grad transfer. I would love getting that Emmanuel Ogbah guy from JUCO, and Rick Smitz son. It’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out, with WW I’m not counting out anything.

Q kind of distanced himself even before this whole Wade/Smart thing. Wade is has been trying, but the guy just really likes Memphis. Best of luck to him.

Is there any info out there about who we are going to go after/get besides Watford? I’ve noticed people have said Sy is no longer a good option.

I don’t get info that deep unfortunately lol. I’d assume after the dust settles with the big recruits, we will lock in on a big man transfer. We were hoping Dante would reclassify but AS OF NOW it’s looking unlikely. At least our 2020 recruiting class will start off with a bang

I live less than a mile from Mountain Brook and my in-laws live there and had 5 kids graduate from there, I'll see what I can find out. My brother in law graduated from there 2 years ago so maybe he can ask around.
Also, I'm sure if his family lives in Mountain Brook there will be no bidding war and he will end up where he wants because most in that area do not have a money problem.
