Need one for iPads, computer and phones. Going to Europe in May and want to take the phones. Any suggestions/recommendations.

I use PIA but I've been looking into NordVPN.

They both seem pretty similar, but NordVPN works with Netflix and is based in Panama (so outside of US jurisdiction).

I've been using NordVPN for over two years and have never had a problem. It's very easy to use and they usually offer specials and pricing discounts left and right. Speeds are good and the support team is awesome.

Also compatible with PCs, Macs, Android, iOS, etc.

I used expressvpn because it was the only one with a direct download link on it's site which was needed when play store was blocked. Connection wasn't always great though.

I can advise you VeePN. I have been using it for several months now and I’m happy with everything. Very convenient and reliable, without interruption in operation. One of the best vpn I have ever used before.

does a vpn weaken your video quality or speed? Sorry for the ignorant question that I am sure has been answered 10000 times.

Has anyone hooked their VPN directly to their router? My router supports this and it would seem to be an easier way to connect all my devices at home?

I looked into this and it seemed like a huge pain in the arse but you're right it would make it easier. I still want to try it though but I'm worried I'd mess my new router up by screwing with the firmware.

It definitely can be a bottleneck for speed... How much typically depends on the service and location you are connecting to.
