Had interview today and was approved. Applied Feb 8.

I live in Houston and was TSA approved already so maybe that is why it went quicker

Returned via MSY on Mon....ONE Global Entry kiosk working. Took only slightly less time than the regular line. Working machine wasn't working very well, it couldn't read my fingerprints and the attendant had to take my passport over to an agent for a regular review.

That airport is slowly falling to bits as we wait for the new one to open!

Still pending as well; just checked.

My wife & I both applied 2/7; she was conditionally approved within a few weeks. I guess we should schedule her interview; at least one of us may have it.

I have been conditionally approved; not sure when I got it but just checked today. Probably a week since I last checked.

It took ~ 3 months, wife’s took < a month.

Yeah, we’re wondering whether to try and schedule interviews before the trip or just do them when we re-enter after the trip. The Gov seems to be promoting the latter so we’ll likely do that. And it is a 3 hour drive to the nearest interview location.

Wondering if I can interview in another state, as when I return to New Orleans it will be after 8pm. I have a layover in NY so I could do it then

I did my “interview” at JFK. Sign in, get finger printed, done. I had all the required paperwork with me but they didn’t even mention it.

ETA: I don’t another state would be an issue since they advertise interview upon entry.

If that’s all it is we’ll just wait and do it when we return.

Yes you can interview wherever. Did mine while going on trip to Florida. Had my card at home before I returned.

I think you can only do the "unscheduled" interviews when you are re-entering from a foreign country. I did it this weekend at ATL. They require that you have at least a 2 hour layover and then you sit and wait. In my case, I waited probably 30 minutes before they interviewed me. Make sure you ask someone before leaving customs to get your luggage because there is a point of no return and then you'd be screwed. I was a little worried about my luggage having to wait for me, but it was there with no issues once my interview was completed.

I went right in, no one was inside the office but me and the workers. Took maybe a total of 45 minutes

Is there an actual interview?

Pjab said he just signed in, got fingerprinted and was done.
