Unless I overlooked something Seger should have had more top 100 songs IMO.

First thing that stood out to me was "Rock and Roll all Nite" ranked so low as well.

I find it pretty much impossible to believe that there are 990 rock songs better than this one.

This. And The Who's The Seeker at 998. I knew not to take the list very seriously at that point.

Can’t examine this whole list but is Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson on it?

If not, list is shite for having any Pat Benetar song ranked above it and I know I saw 2 or 3 of hers from 600-1000.

The trickiest part of lists like this is what they define as “classic rock.” There are a few Beatles songs on there and I’m not sure where exactly the line gets drawn of what qualifies.

Not sure why “Penny Lane” is on there but not Eleanor Rigby for example.

For your love by the Yardbirds should be much higher

1000 songs and no room for The Ballad of Curtis Lowe? One of my favorite Skynyrd songs, and our Boston Classic Rock station (WZLX), still plays it all the time.

Damn.... you could argue that one even being rock-n-roll.

I'm impressed you took the time to type the whole list....lol

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part I-IV).....

....a little disappointed and surprised this one didn't make a Top 1,000 list

They seem to like Van Halen 5150. That's the biggest problem. No one is doing a list that everyone agrees on.

999 makes this list worthless.
