Weird how they can sell out Fenway Park for consecutive nights but draws little interest in a Southern City like New Orleans.

See him every year here in his home town Puts on a great show.

Last year he did a tribute to Greg Allman and played Whipping post... shite was legit

Bought tickets a few months ago and had to sell them. Had a business trip come up but saw them a few years ago at the Hollywood Bowl in Cali. Great show.

Closed out his jazz fest set a few years ago by telling parents to take their kids home and launching into Killing in the Name. Respect.

They did a little pour some sugar on me, hot for teacher and bulls on parade encore. Did Jeremy earlier in the set as well as U2’s In the Name of Love.

Great show

They ended with Bull on Parade. Their cover of Jeremey was legit.

While they were signing Jeremey this guy next to was was Shazzaming the song. I asked him if he really didn't know the song. He said no but he liked the song.

He seemed like in his 30's. I thought it was odd he had never hear the song before. Maybe he was an alien.

Besides these they also touched on "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison during "Free", "Take it to the Limit" in the middle of "Colder Weather" and played James Taylor's "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" and Simon and Garfunkel's "The Boxer". I even heard A Led Zeppelin riff in the middle of one of his songs.

Amazingly he still, during the 2 1/2 hour concert, had time to play most of his relevant music along with at least one new song.

Great concert.

I mentioned to the folks I was with that I thought it was nice he was doing a religious song.

The lyrics are "DAMN GIRL, what you got is God-Given".

Have seen them in memphis, at the wharf, Houston rodeo and will be seeing them in Nashville on the 28th. They never disappoint.

I picked up tickets at the last minute, so the wife and I headed down to NO. I like most of his songs, and the show had good energy and his talent is obvious.

My only problem was too many covers. It’s cool at first but then you realize you are basically listening to a jam band. I know it’s nit picky but that’s my take.

I agree, the covers were good at first but at the end I think it was overkill. I would have rathered them play more songs from their album coming out this Summer.

I saw them at the Houston rodeo last year, and although I would not consider them entertainers, that motherfricker can sing his arse off. He sings on key and hit every note.

Would go see again. Plus he has a huge female following which is a tremendous added bonus for going again
