Can some recommend a good place to buy King Cakes in Monroe, Shreveport, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge? Making the round of through the state in a week and thought I'd get some to deliver to my clients as I stop. I usually just google when I'm in town but if someone has recommendations that would be great. Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks! Will probably pick up a few at Lilah's to deliver in Alexandria as well since I'll be there in the afternoon.

Lafayette: stay away from Meche’s.
Try Poupart’s or Keller’s

Atwood’s in Alex makes a good king cake.

I don’t like much else of theirs but their king cakes are better than average.

Call Randazzo's in Metairie and have them shipped to you, one for each city. It's worth it.

I think that's where I picked up some last year.

In Monroe, Castor and Chicory (local food truck) has been getting great reviews. They have a limited supply, though, and run out quick.

I’ve gotten some good ones at Thurman’s lately, but you want to make sure they’re fresh.

I’ve also heard good things about Butter A Louisiana Bakery, but you need to order ahead of time.
