none pay a dividend. however if you're looking to retire sooner rather than later they can help accomplish that

I think you guys are waaaaay off trying to value weed stocks this way. If you ultimately believe that consumption will be legal why would people not just grow and consume on their own. I mean possession and consumption would basically be completely decriminalized. These companies won't be worth THAT much.

I'd say it will be like a YUM brands stock.

Why don't people grow and roll their own tobacco? Or Ferment and distill their own alcohol?

you and i both know that the process for growing tobacco or distilling alcohol is tremendously different in terms of scale than it is for weed.

You and I both know that there is MAYBE 5% of people who will actually grow their own for personal use. Going to the gas station and buying a pack of doobies just sounds too nice and easy

I think that bubble will be popping soon, it is a commodity and there is no premium to be had.

VPU (vanguard utility ETF) has a decent yield and is an index, as opposed to you taking on the much higher risk of one individual company to get that dividend yield.

Wouldn’t people want others buying more of stock they are invested in?

sure but it really doesn't matter if they do as they won't buy enough for it to matter.
