Curious about how Villanova had a loss this past weekend yet moved up in the polls. Contrary to all that has happened thus far this season with the AP.

Nope....nope...nope. That would be a great signature win for this team right about now.

But it and Fl St are surely not a "bad loss"

I don't understand how they are keeping Duke below Tennessee. Is it really just because of Gonzaga?

Duke has beaten #4 twice, #5 by a hundred points, #15, and #17. Lost to #3 by two points and a 17 win Syracuse team.

Tennessee has beaten #3 and #16, lost to #14, 18 win Kansas.

Maybe I'm preempting our game with them by downplaying their impressive record, but I don't understand why they deserve the top spot.

Lost to Marquette by one. I'm ok with it.

Good point and I'm fine with that. Just haven't seen a move "up" in the poll as if to reward a loss this season from the AP. OT wins in close games have happened before this one and the loser dropped. See Duke vs Zags, LSU vs FSU. Close losses to ranked teams but didn't improve ranking the following week. Both dropped at least one spot. AP won't mean much at selection time thankfully.

Just keep winning as many games as possible and finish in the top 24 to get a 6 seed or better.

I like the Tigers' chances to win the first two NCAA rounds unless they have to play a Top 8 team.

I wonder if losing to Houston is better than winning, eye test wise. Houston at 23-1

If UH’s one loss was to us then we’d be a #3 seed right now at 20-3. We’re borderline 4-5 seed right now but really think we’re just one big win away from getting national attention. You’ll notice it if we beat UK on road tomorrow

As of this sunday, we will have played the #1, #4, #9, and #17 teams in the country. Hopefully we can be 2-2 against those 4 teams

Yeah, it's not as if Creighton is that good this year. That was their win last week (and it was close).
