So just to clarify, you were offered Kirk and a mid 2nd for 1.8?

This would be an easy accept for me. Kirk showed promise in his rookie year, and is probably worth a mid/late first by himself. Situation is a little volatile with not knowing how the QB situation will shake out. But I think you probably get someone roughly as promising at that 1.08 spot. Being further along in development and the second pushes it to grabbing Kirk, imo.

I know its hard, but you just have to accept it................:...

155 Days is a long time, and no matter how many Drew Brees autographs that we buy or fantasy football trades that we make, the Saints still got screwed over and we still have a lonnnng time to go until September.

Christian Kirk + mid 2nd (I'm assuming this is a 2020 pick?)

For

1.08

Really depends on the makeup of your team. I don't hate Christian Kirk, but I don't love the situation he's in. This is a very deep WR draft (and TE draft), and depending on how things work out, you could find yourself in a situation where you grab a WR with equal talent, but in a better situation.

ETA - Also, the longer you wait, rookie fever will kick in after the Combine and even more so after the NFL draft. I would hold for now.

Post your team, too.

QBs: Watson and Brady (rooks Dobbs and Rudolph)
Rb: Howard,Hines barber, riddick,Powell,Damian Williams, John kelly.
Wr: theilen, Landry, Ridley, Beasley, calloway, higgins, ateman, m Goodwin, Trey quin, Deon Cain, Dylan cantrell
Te: kelce and olsen

I know rb game is not great, next yrs rook rb class should help tho plan to make a trade to secure an additional 1st Rd pick for next yr

QB Watson
RB Damien Williams
RB Howard
WR Theilan
WR Landry
FL Ridley
FL ??

How many teams are in your league? I like your QB and TE spot, obviously.

I'm pretty high on Damien Williams for 2019. The Chiefs have a lot of holes to fill, and I don't think they will use a top 3 round pick on a RB.

Howard isn't the best fit for that offense, but depending on your league size (I'm hoping for your sake its 12 or more), most teams are having a RB2 problem.

Your WR1, WR2, and WR3 are solid and probably better than most. Your 2nd flex spot is where things get tricky. I don't think you're getting a flex worthy starter at 8, but I also don't know if Christian Kirk is going to be that for you this year either. 1.04 will be really interesting, because I think there are two solid RBs in this draft (Jacobs and Montgomery). If one of those fall to you, you might be in a good spot. You should entertain the idea of trading both 1.08 and 1.04 to get a top 2 pick, preferably the top pick. Now is better than later

I like your team for next year, then. You're probably in the range of 5th or 6th best, and got into the playoffs last year as the 6 seed.

Youve got a team that can make some noise this year, but I don't know how I feel about the future outlook of it. Build around Watson, Kelce, Theilan, and Ridley. This is a bad draft to have (2) top 8 rookie picks in a superflex league

You need RB and QB help, and both are not exactly great
