In my opinion he absolutely is! But if you can get past making teammates disappear, belittling teammates, and spending the last two years being a mediocre player on the Washington Wizards, then maybe its Jordan.

Absolutely; as a player coach. Consistently sacrificed his game and stats to help elevate his teammates. That's why, with a team nowhere near as talented as the West, Baylor, Chamberlain Laker teams, the Celtics always came out on top.

You can poll a lot of experts and there is no doubt that Russell would be considered the GOAT by a large number of those experts. I do agree that rings don't always tell the whole story (Robert Horry 7 vs. Jordan 6), but in Russell's case, he won everywhere. 11 out of 13 in the NBA and 2 in NCAA. Yep, he would probably get my vote also.
