Louisiana's stats are skewed because we have an abnormal amount of D1 schools for our population.

Maybe a little, but we also have near the top in per capita NFL players, etc.

We are a very talent rich state per capita. Very.

that doesn't even highlight the underanalyzed, underreported, underrecruited hotbed of rural talent in Vermilion Parish.

That has nothing to do with the survey. Number of D1 recruits divided by the number of high school players.

MS is def a surprise. They have bested Louisiana recently in players drafted.

I do not think it is all that surprising if you take into account the amount of guys that have to spend two years in JUCO within MS, big chunk taken out every year. Would be interesting to see the number if after two years the numbers recruited as JUCO sophomores is added back to their original class.
