This game is not going to be as easy of a W that I was pretty much locking it in:

I had:

TB - W
Car - Toss up
Pittsburgh - Toss up
Car - W

I feel good about getting the W but I’m not as over confident as I was post the Cowgirls game. These last 5 games worried me the day the schedule came out.

There’s like a 90% chance of thunderstorms for that game, anything can happen..

Saints will pound Ingram and Kamara on them all day..

FrIggin 90%

Sometimes the Saints just don’t play well down there. It’s hard to predict, but there’s been some bad Saints games in Tampa.

Most division games are tough

I’m ok grinding out a win in the slop. Looks like Desean Jackson will be out so I’m not overly concerned with them moving the ball on us.

Going to the game so I’m really hoping those thunderstorms pass through in the morning before game time

Enjoy Vinny, it's a nice stadium..
Heads up though, they frown on trying to piss ON the pirate ship.

I think our screen and run game is perfect for a rainy game.

Tampax has always played them tough down there...I expect more of the same.

I feel more confident than most. Their run game will be stymied including Winston's on the ground. Brees and the offense will bounce back big.

Brees 2 TDs passing/ 1 rushing TD
Kamara 1 rushing TD/ 1 receiving TD
Ingram 1 rushing TD
Smith 1 receiving TD

Lutz 35 yard FG

Morestead naptime zzzzzzzz......

Saints win 38 to 17

I also expect it to be a somewhat close game as well. Bucs are playing pretty well, division road game. Thankfully Desean Jackson is out.

Saints 31
Bucs 23

No NFL game is a lock, none. Even the 49ers and Cardinals can beat the Saints. We saw the Saints play with no effort, offensively, against the Cowboys who have a solid D, not great and got their asses kicked. They were ranked 10th iirc defensively. We played good against the #1 and 3 ranked defenses already earlier in the year. If the Saints are focused and pumped like they should be, we should win, if not, it can go either way.

It can always go either way when a team is given a first down 1 and 1/2 yards short and when a helmet to helmet goes uncalled.

And for extra icing the ref calls pass interference in the end zone while Michael Thomas gets mugged all game long.

That's how you get a close loss.

Those were bad calls but the Kirkwood TD shouldn’t have counted as it was OPI. Also they missed a blatant face mask call on us. There were some awful calls and no calls that hurt us, but Cowboys got hurt by the refs also.

Did this face mask come after they were almost two yards short of a first NFL rep?

The face mask play would not have happened. The Saints would have already had the ball.

Michael Thomas was held on every play.

Nice playcall cherry picking.

Saints will win this game. Not sure by what and does not matter. This is the type of game that we will enforce our will. I expect about 200 yards rushing.

Kirkwood and all the Saints WRs were getting mugged and were just responding to being held.

Nice try NFL. It was obvious the fixer was massaging the game.

This NFL crew better not call the Superbowl.

We lost b/c the O came out flat and never gained momentum. After the TD that should have got them kickstarted, or even after a couple of the first downs in the second half but it didn’t. I’ve already said there were bad calls and no calls against the Saints, but Cowboys had some also. I wasn’t happy about the loss either. But blame it on the offense, not the referees.

I would trade all the good and bad calls and no calls that Dallas received in a heartbeat.

The Saints WRs were mugged on virtually every play.

There were way more no calls that favored Dallas.

In a tight game, it tips the scales.

I think our offense is playing like a well oiled machine. I think Brees is the best QB to ever step on the field. I don't need him to win 5 more SBs to prove that, I'd still feel that way if he'd never won a SB. But, against Dallas last week, he and our offense completely sucked, they sucked, bad.

I've gone back and watched some more of the game, Brees was off, our WRs were mugged some but also many times they weren't and still couldn't separate, plus they couldn't catch the ball. Kamara looked like he was running half speed, trust me, he wasn't playing like he usually does and our Oline stunk. Give credit to Dallas's Dline, but our Oline has played against better Dlines and dominated, they just sucked that night.

Giving the Saints a TD when it shouldn't have been cannot be overlooked. That's a big deal we would have been furious on. I agree the ticktacky call on Lattimore and one of the Apple calls was ticktacky compared to what they got away with. At the same time we've faced other DBs who've mugged our WRs and it didn't stop us. We just came out lethargic and stunk it up. We didn't deserve that game and the score was closer than what it should have been. That's on our O not the refs. It happens, it's football, they are human, they simply didn't have focus and went through the motions. It's not a big deal, may even happen again during the regular season. It's hard as hell to play lights out all 16 regular season games. We just better not let up during the playoffs and I don't see that happening.
