Let me preface this by saying that I admit I’m grasping at straws with this thought; trying to stay positive.

We can all agree Jimbo is going to have aTm loaded offensively in a year or two. Finebaum said he thinks Freeze will end up at AU with Malzahn next year. These would be two teams with legitimate shots at beating Alabama every year.

Would LSU actually benefit from this? Do you think that we could actually improve our chances of winning the west if these 2 teams were good enough to beat Bama?

I think so. We have proven that our system, as archaic as it is, is capable of beating really good teams. Just not Bama. I could see the possibility of every few years those two teams hang 2 loses on Bama and we could actually beat them with our only loss being to Bama.

Obviously we’d all prefer to close the recruiting gap on Bama and get a championship caliber OC, but since we have wanted that for a decade and it hasn’t happened I’m hoping that others in the West do the dirty work for us.

Again grasping at straws. Flame away.

I believe the Ensminger system will cost us 2 to 3 losses per season.

LSU is low rent for coaching just look at what we got. Aside from Aranda the rest is good value brand, gets job done but dont taste the best

Alabama hasn’t lost more than one game in a regular season since 2010

It’s a welcome trend to begin again

You can add Greg McMahon and Corey Raymond with Aranda, but yeah.

We shouldn't have to rely on others to do the dirty work for us. We should do it our damn selves. It's sad to even have this topic come up.

I agree 100% which is why I said:

No just means they beat us too. Withe those teams getting better, and an improved Texas, it also adds to the recruiting wars that will hurt us too. We better make a move now or we will be 3 to 4th in the west just like Miles.

So you think backing into winning the West and having a shot at the SECC would be a good thing for LSU? You're basically throwing in the towel against Bama. I don't think any LSU fan that I know would be content with #14) that AT ALL?

None of this shite makes any sense, baw. So they are good enough to beat bama every year, and were good enough to beat them, but were not good enough to beat alabama?

You think A&M and Auburn being better is going to help LSU?

Yeah sometimes I feel like our time is running out. I really don't want to go back to pre-2000 LSU football. Then, I'll really have to find something else to do on Saturdays.

I don’t agree with this. I think he will be a complete failure at A&M because A&Ms culture is failure.
