Love me some Coach E, but we need to go get Hugh Freeze!

Make him a reclamation project like Saban does!!!!! So he likes hookers, hell I do too there is a reason it is the oldest profession!!!!!! Just make sure he isn't in charge of recruiting so no issues like Tunsil, and have him for at least a couple of years before he is hired as a HC again. If we can keep Aranda and hire Freeze for 3 years we will beat Bama and win a couple SEC and NC's also!

It's a pipe dream!! Coach O can't fire Coach E after the debacle from last year with Canada and Freeze won't last another year on the coaching market unless he is only looking for a HC job.

I could get behind this - he’s one of the few coaches whose offensive schemes has worked against Saban. Not sure it works with 2 weeks of prep, but I do know his offense can beat saban’s defense.
Poor scheme was huge Saturday - Saban and crew knew what was happening and when. Put their defenders in place to make stuff happen and it worked to perfection. Freeze has shown he can fight around that

Why not? He fired Canada because he was unhappy with the offensive production. Ensminger's offense is worse than Canada's was last year. It's actually the worst offense in over a decade, statistically speaking.
My hope is that he either asks Ensminger to quietly step down or Steve does it on his own. Orgeron promised that he'd fix the offensive problems. His current OC can't do that. It's actually getting worse.

Probably the only reasonable expectation because if O fires E than he will be admitting to his failure after he ran off the OC that had been picked for him.

Orgeron will never admit that he made a mistake in promoting Ensminger. Their wagons are hitched together because Steve E. was Orgeron's personal selection.

I'm really not in the fire Ensminger camp as much as everyone else. Maybe I'm just being naive and hoping a former Tiger can knock the rust off and be better in year 2. However, if Baby Briles or Freeze is an option then bye Felicia.

Ensminger was a stop-gap measure. Originally, O wanted Kiffen. Bama made sure he got a HC job to keep him away. Then Canada was hired and it was not a good fit between O and Canada. It happens. Look how many coordinators Saban goes through on his staff. He then turned to Ensminger who did a good job in the interim and Ogeron had confidence in. I think there may be a possibility for Freeze on staff. I can definitely get on board with that.

Freeze is the answer, but has anyone thought that O doesn't want to hire someone that could eventually replace him.
