Good. Dudes are gonna be terrified to see Hess again after what he did to them in Omaha.

Sitting behind home plate vs OSU, I would feel better with the same umpire of that game

They have the sec getting 4 top 8 seeds. If that happens that bodes well for LSU getting in regardless of their rpi being weak. If the sec is viewed as the best conference nationally which it clearly would be if they give the sec 4 national seeds then that should solidify any bubble sec team to be not left out.

They have Miss St on the "first four out" list.

That wouldn’t be the easiest regional. Both USF and Stetson have aces who will be 1st round picks.

He called the outside pitch on both sides. We adjusted, the didn’t. Also Hess didn’t use the outside corner. He was blowing by them with 95-97MPH and then breaking off that nasty slider that even Michael “Brick Wall” Papierski was strugggling to block.

Given this team's road record, anywhere they go is going to have a significant degree of difficulty.

I will admit that today is the 1st time all year I have looked at regional projections.

WTF is up with Stetson being so good?

And regionals at North Carolina, Duke, and North Carolina State?? They could all almost throw a rock and hit each other they are so close. When did Duke get good at baseball?

Both Stetson and S Fla have stud ace pitchers that will go high in the draft.
When you have that, it sets up the rest of your weekend pitching wise and that's why they've both been so good this year.

DeGrom for the Mets came out of Stetson. Geaux Hatters, except for going against LSU.

Just ran through Stetson's schedule. This is the regional we want to be in. Plus I just moved to Oregon and will certainly be launching piss balloons in Corvallis

Stetson's schedule

Agree. Cakewalk. Lost two of three vs. Maryland & Florida State. Rest of schedule is mainly directional schools.

Agree. He was definitely consistent with the 6” inch black

Either way, Hess was tossing and we scored runs.
To be honest I thought I was headed home prior to that game, because the first game was so ugly, and ended up getting a few more days in Omaha. Can’t conplain about that.

I am digging this possibility b/c after Game 1, win or lose, the rest of that regional is fricked against a battle-hardened, loose, and deep LSU team with nothing to lose.

Those types of pitchers are who we usually have the most success hitting against.

It's the 71 mph, junk ball pitcher who we struggle against.
