The fact that our currency is the same size is stupid and cruel

Why is our currency the same size? I mean, our coins aren’t, and those were the primary currency day to day until relatively recently. All someone had to do is sink their hands into their pockets or purse to immediately know just by touch how much cash they had.

Now this may seem trivial, but what about blind people? This is a travesty to them and they’ve likely lost thousands of dollars because of people being cruel to them. They don’t trust others and rightfully so. And if you’ve ever been abroad and seen other currency that’s different sizes, you’ll realize that it makes your life easier by being able to instantly go through your cash.

This should be a big campaign issue even if it appears trivial. You will get everyone who is blind and their loved ones to vote for you.

Yeah, I’m not for spending millions of dollars to reprint currency in different sizes.

Well, 30 years ago you'd have had a point.

Today: blind people use plastic, just like everyone else for everything.

Also: someone just had their first trip abroad and had a deep thought.

Well talk to a blind person. They’ve been fricked out of millions. Really you’re advocating for insanity just because it will cost money to have a new mold for money.

I lived in China for 3 years. This isn’t a recent thought.

You don't need to do that

Toddy is more than willing to feel around in your pockets

My point on plastic still stands.

Unless you're advocating for shutting down the internet because blind people have trouble using it.

I Email on a regular basis with a friend who is blind, he also maintains his own text only web site. The internet has improved the quality of life of the blind in many areas.

Are you joking?

Liberals have often used that logic before

There are barely a million legally blind people in the US. And that counts people with uncorrected vision as bad as mine. There are even fewer totally blind people.

Our entire society is now based on changing everything to accommodate a statiscally insignificant percentage of the population.

Cash isn’t even going to exist too much longer.
