I don't. I actually try to cover up some cause I get too dark to the point people make tons of comments. If I tan I look good u til it gets hot outside or when youth baseball starts, after that my face gets old looking quickly.

The UV lights absolutely improve your mood. And you look better tan.

Get the spray tan. You'll be glad you did.

I was a lifeguard as a youngin. Now I stay out of the sun as much as possible.

Not to get all preachy, but y'all need to be careful. I used to back in the day, until I had to have a few spots cut off at the Dermatologist that came back positive. Now I just load up on the sunscreen so I don't burn, and get a little naturally.

I don't even take off my shirt at the beach anymore and usually stay under the umbrella. I've seen too many family members and coworkers getting skin cancer removed. Just not worth it.

I don't go that far, but I have noticed the areas where I had to have spots removed were ones where it is hard to apply sunscreen on your own, or areas you tend to forget about. Middle of the back, lower back of legs, and on one ear for some reason. My wife likes that spray sunscreen that is $9 a bottle and is gone in an afternoon. Give me the cheap No-Ad SPF 30 lotion.
Also, and this really isn't tanning related, but saltwater will wash any sunscreen off quickly. Learned that the hard way several years ago. Lugged all our stuff down to the beach, then walked out about hip deep in the gulf to cool off. Didn't reapply and my legs burned. Not really an issue in pool water but definitely something to remember at the beach.

I've only tanned priot to trips. Trying to control a burn that was inevitable. It worked. Nothing worse than drinking too much and ruining a trip to Jamaica by being burned to oblivion

Might go this weekend for the first time ever. I miss my tan and this winter has really sucked for getting outside.

Took a try with Melanotan II to protect my skin, get a nice tan that lasts a really long time with minimal exposure to the sun. Had an intnese painful boner for 8 hours off and on, so I gave up tanning and my dog left me.

I live in California, and I see lots of people in their 50’s whose skin look like old leather due to a life of sun exposure. To avoid looking like that as I age, I generally try to reduce the amount of UV rays I get.
