Looking for any ideas along the way from BatonRouge up through Hattiesburg. Also any good places around Chattanooga area we should take the time for?

Does your timing work out for a late lunch in Birmingham? Pick a Saws BBQ location, or Niki's West if you are more toward the "meat and three" spectrum.

That's about the time we should be going through there. I'll look them up. Unfortunately it looks like Leatha's will be closed both days we are going through Hattisburg.

I assume you mean tomorrow (Monday) morning. Looks like the weather should finally clear up -- hope you have a nice drive. Let us know what you find to eat.

For an upscale meal in Chattanooga Hennen’s was REALLY good!

Yup. Leaving after I get home in the morning. Hopefully I can find some little local hole in the wall type places.

Since Leathas will be closed in Hburg, go to Big Bob Gibson's Bbq in Decatur, AL if you go through there.

I like the Saw's Soul Food location in Avondale, but they are all great.
