Age had nothing to do with it, it was based upon him not on the recruiting trail and that was because they put Austin Thomas in his place.

Well he retired this year

So she had something to do with it

Also doesn’t Sullivan have a 1 year contract?

Based on your actions on this board, I nailed your current mentality.

You may not act like that outside of the rant but that is your exact persona on it.

Not sure on that, if so, it's probably to show Joseph how to coach wr's. Didn't see much progress with Anderson, Davis and others.

I'd venture to say he'll work more on rapport of qb and wr's, may have input on x's and o's. When you've been around the game that long you accumulate a lot of knowledge.

Yeah against an awful mizzou defense. And any defense without a pulse.

Oeux is still somewhat of an unknown quantity. He will become well known on the Sunday after the Miami game in Dallas, following a loss; this board will melt insufferably. If the Tigers win, Oeux will remain...an unknown quantity.

Already have a 5 star Olineman for next class idk why everyone so upset over Surtain he may flop.

I do love the fact that Coach Orgeron is emphasizing bringing in talent on the offensive and defensive lines. That is essential to building a championship team. I think the main reason people (including myself) are so upset about losing Surtain is the fact that LSU had a very real chance to sign Mario Goodrich, and that opportunity was blown due to poor decision making. It was a bad mistake and would have greatly lessened the blow of losing Surtain to Alabama, where he will start for the next three seasons, barring injury.

Mediocre RB depth
70 year old OC

-Limited experience but both have worked with Ensminger so they will transition easier
-Sullivan, Davis and Dillon all have seen snaps, Giles is a 1100 yard 10TD transfer from TxTech and Marshall and Chase are the best prospects we've had in a long time and Anderson is a talented WR as well
-CEH, Brossette, Ducre back at RB, baby LF, Curry and Provens will share carries
-The OC is 59, 7 years younger than Saban (just an age comparison so don't freak out)

Some people are trying to make the best of the hand that has been dealt. Being a miserable little bitch won’t make any of this any better.

"I've kind of told him, Myles right now, 'hey, we're all in here starters' and that's the way it's gonna go. Yes, Myles will take the first snap of spring practice and all that. But as we get into teams and as we get into scrimmages and everything else. I've gotta allow these other kids, Lowell [Narcisse] and Justin [McMillan] to get with the first group and run the reps and everything else. And it's my job to do a good job of playing to their strengths …

"Hopefully as we put this together when [any of the QBs are] in the ballgame I'm not asking those quarterbacks to do what another quarterback can do, and I can play to his strengths."

Coach E today...refreshing to hear

We better be able to sling it next year as we will not be having a 1st round talent to hand the ball to to bail us out against weak arse defenses loke ole miss and arky.

Brennan and Narcisse and the offensive staff better be ready to throw the ball first to set up the run.

If the offense struggles at any point as we have seen iver the years, our defense will be on the field all game long.

Our defensive line better be as good as advertised also with a depleted defensive back core.

I am cautiously optimistic because our offense COULD be really dynamic of our QB play and receivers gel and become dynamic like an Okie State, Oklahoma, Baylor(past). Would not mind a pass happy offense at all.

I agree. The issue in the past is we basically were able to beat the weak defenses by wearing them down with the run game, but we faltered against teams that could stop the run. Now we should still be able to go toe to toe with the average to weaker D's and still have an effective, not dynamic run game.

If Brennan/Narcisse are as good as a lot of us think they are we can now stretch the field and attack defenses that normally stonewall us. We are ridiculously deep at WR and I expect a lot of quick passes to put the ball in these guys' hands. We have to be willing to test the middle of the field which we didn't last year with Danny. Brennan is accurate and can sling it better than Etling, but there will be growing pains. I just hope the coaches and fans realize this and have a little patience.
