Bandai Namco is pretty hit or miss overall.
In this case, Nintendo is probably lending a heavy hand to the project which is usually a good thing.

This does raise the question of what is Retro Studios working on right now? Porting Tropical Freeze? Another DK game? I'm disappointed they aren't behind MP4.
