I agree. I won’t watch his gaming video because I’m not interested but I’ve watched some of the non gaming ones and they’re ok. People get outraged over anything now so yeah comedy is absolutely dying.

Re: YouTube's actions, I think this is just the market at work and I have no problem with it. I know it's my job to be aware of what my kids are watching, and I know that even idiots and attention whores are protected by the First Amendment. Nevertheless, this is simple cause and effect, and that's a concept everybody needs to learn eventually.

I hate that I already knew who this dickhole was, but when I first starting hearing of him a few months ago I felt like I had to ask my kids if they watched or liked any Jake/Logan Paul videos. I was trying to be completely casual about it so they would be honest and tell me what they really thought because I was hearing that they were super popular in my kids' age group. But my 8-year-old rolled his eyes and said that the stuff they did wasn't funny, it was stupid, and he'd actually stopped hanging around one of his friends at school because the other kid was OTT obsessed with them. My older two just stared silently at me with this half-incredulous, half-disgusted look. Finally the 11-year-old said, "Give us credit for having at least a little bit of taste."

Gotta tell you, I don't always feel validated as a parent, but I did that day.

This kid is a prick but I hope this helps bring a competitor to youtube their bias sucks.
