Image tags on old posts not working?

I noticed this on one of my older posts I dug up last week and just saw it in a bumped thread on the movie board. Images on older posts are showing up like a link with anchor text like:

Image: https://s.cdn.turner.com/drp/nba/pelicans/sites/default/files/styles/main_gallery_photo__480_tall/public/120717-cousinsshopcr-031.jpg?itok=wMJ8H_Pm

rather than rendering as an image. The odd thing is if I edit my old post and copy and paste the old image tag into a new post the image renders
