Yeah, Volland is much better than Stindl, but is he considered a true 9 or is he more a winger? I think there are plenty of other wingers they prefer.

I think that’s why I like him more, versatility. and work rate. he may not be a true 9 but he can certainly be serviceable there

Though the same thing against Portugal, and Carvalho and Sanches bossed them. Banega, Biglia, Pastore, etc can hold their own.
