Yes it can. As long as the hire is for an infield position it is allowed. If it was as an analyst it would not be allowed.

Where is this coming from? Our open spot was taken by old man river (Sullivan). Correct me if I'm wrong but we are allowed 10 on field coaches: 1. 0 2. Ensminger 3. Aranda 4. Raymond 5. Meatball 6. Joseph 7. Sullivan 8. Cregg 9. T-Rob 10. McMahon

Ah, so we lost Canada, Jenkins and Grimes, then we added Sullivan, Cregg and McMahon, leaving an available spot still. I forgot about losing Jenkins.
