If O is the one insisting Canada should go, he should eat the buyout from his own salary

It is absurd that O is already stealing money from LSU, but now because he gets his feelings hurt, is going to force LSU not only to pay a significant buyout (up to $3 million) to Canada, but again have to put even more money on top of that to pay his replacement, which is going to cost a pretty penny.

So for likely $4 million+, you could just fire O, keep Canada, promote Aranda, or at least hire a damn head coach that isn't a complete and utter disaster to run this team.

O needs to save every nickel he can. His days are numbered.

Ya I don't really understand why you couldn't just fire O and promote Aranda. Aranda let's Canada do his thing and continues to call plays while promoting Raymond to DC. Everyone is happy and keeps the band together (minus O).

Aranda could still call plays as head coach too. Not clap his hands like a dumbass for 3 hours.

That's what I'm saying. Sean Peyton won a Superbowl staying on his side of the ball and has made a damn good career out of it.

For one you have to hope Aranda desires being an HC.

Even if he does, I have zero confidence this has even crossed our adminstration's minds.

Canada presents a true major problem. His system is too sophisticated for the average southern coaches and players.

Then its obvious they dont want LSU to be successful. Because anything with O at the top is a house of cards.

The past 13 months has proven that.

O has a $12m buyout, lil buddy. Miles is being paid a buyout also.

You gonna have to ride this out and hope for the best.

O’s buyout is not $12 million anymore. It’s $8.5 million now in 2018.

Ok, does that make it ok? I should feel better about everyone wanting to pay 8.5 to O and 3 to Canada . Don't forget to throw in Miles 9.7.
