Cool arse dude. Gonna be be missed. Even the people that worked for him,were nice.Never just shut you down,always encouraging,in a way.
The worst feeling that I ever got from them,was positive and inviting me back....keep on trying.

Hall had a fantastic horse sense as a producer. At the end of the Shoals doc there’s a scene of him tracking a young group.

He was just asking them to simplify their arrangement, but in that short clip you could see the down to earth style and easy wisdom that served him so well over the years.
