How many are giving up their season tickets? Do you go one more year with hope or you already know if will be a terrible investment? I'll hang up and listen.

Me and I know quite a few others who are doing the same.

We can watch on TV

You don’t have season tickets. Want to know how I know that? Because if you did, you or your family have likely had them for for generations and would not give them up. This is what you fricking O supporters and sidewalk fans don’t understand. I will be curtailing my donations to the TAF outside of what is required of me to maintain my six sets of season tickets, yes.

Because no one ever gets season tickets, ESPECIALLY after the decline of the program of recent years.

You dont know what you speak of. I know several folks who got season tickets in the past few seasons because of disgruntled fans and now they dont see a point in keeping them because of the trend. They can go buy tickets outside the stadium if they want to go.

Face reality... the program has turned to shite.

I’m on the verge of giving up mine but it has nothing to do with O. It has everything to do with the cluster of parking, traffic, concessions etc on game day. Like the poster above keeping them has more to do with I’ve had them for over 25 years and would like to keep them. I have grandkids that come with me every week and they enjoy it.

Gave mine up after O was hired, along with a crap home schedule. Keeping my TAF going so I can jump right back in, after all of you jump off the cliff. Gonna be some good seats available next year, with no wait list.

I got ticket 3 years ago and gave them up last year

I wouldn't do it to make a statement it just made zero sense being in NJ. I just always thought I would have season tickets. Realized I was being selfish

I’m not giving up my season tickets. The newest set I have I purchased in 2010. The oldest were purchased by my grandfather in the 1960’s. Why would I give those up so some barely functioning retard wearing a flatbill from the bayou can post pictures of Ed to Facebook? No, I’ll hold on to them and let my friends and family bring their young kids to see games since the declining attendance numbers will continue.

No matter how good the team is season tickets aren't an "investment". It's an amount of money I pay to do something I enjoy, attend an LSU football game. As a season ticket holder I don't think LSU "owes" me anything other than that my seat be available when I walk in the stadium.

I'm not giving up my season tickets because regardless of the coach I KNOW I am going to be watching the game no matter how good or bad the team is. It's just a question of will that be on TV or from my seat in the stadium. The only consideration I have is cost and the success or lack thereof on the field really doesn't come into play for me. I don't care if LSU starts having Alabama level success next season. If the ticket prices ever get to a point where I feel it's too much I'll stop buying them, regardless of the product on the field.

I can bitch and complain all I want. But the bottom line is that I will always be a fan.

a better question is how many season ticket holders plan to actually attend games next year. This year it was clear we have a growing non attendance trend

That is about the most stupid thing I've ever heard of buying season tickets and not using them. That's a lot if wasted money.

Keeping my 6 and would love to pick up two more right next to those. My family loves going to Tiger Stadium but we are two shy from bringing the whole crew
