Shortening Clubs

Anyone have any experience getting clubs cut down to fit you? I have a pretty good set that was given to me but I think they may be a bit long Any recommendations on where to have it done?

What’s your location? BR? Several good club builders in the area, but go hit the clubs and get the specs they need to be set to first.

I’m 5’9” and play 2* flat and 1/2” cut down. It drastically improved my ball contact once I was properly fit. Local golf pro did all the alterations for me. It’s relatively cheap and will improve your game a lot more than a new driver.

I plan to lop a half inch off my irons and a full inch off my "woods" over the winter.

I cut my driver down to 44" ;works for me
