Hard to beat a Muck. They make lots of models with varying levels of insulation.

I have 1000g LaCrosse. Comfortable, warm with good socks and weren't hot last week in 60 degree weather.

I don't wear insulated boots at the moment but after being in the military for some time in some pretty cold places helps you understand. I think it all depends on how active you are etc. You definitely don't want your feet filling with sweat constantly.

800g works for me. When temp dips in 20s I wear 1000g.

Mucks. I where normal tube socks and seldom roll the muck boot sleeves up towards my knees.

800g with the right socks is all you need.

It’s really all about the sock. Get some nice wool socks.

Dry feet is the key to warm feet.

Don't get to heavy of insulated boot because you will sweat in the truck and walk in to the stand.

Like other said stay at 800g or below. Even switch socks when in the stand if walking along ways in.
