Rondo and Free Throws this season

I was looking at his stats and noticed something about his free throws...or complete lack of it
He has played 12 games and 286 minutes without a SINGLE free throw.
That has to be a record right? I mean even Omer freaking Asik has 2 this year

When he gets to the basket it is usually a clean shot or pass, he is avoiding contact on purpose. I like it and don’t really care if he shoots one free throw the whole year.

He passes up layups that appear would be open (or very lightly contested) to kick out to the perimeter. It is frustrating sometimes, but all around he is such a positive for the offense you don’t care. It is still surprising that he hasn’t been to the line.
