Wow!! The media is all over us right now. While I like it. I feel like it is an overreaction and i don’t want the saints players to read too far into it. The rest of the season even before the playoffs is going to be a dog fight. While the running game and defense have been awesome. I still believe there will be a couple of games the rest of the season Drew will have to put the team on his shoulders to win. Keep it going saints and true fans keep on enjoying!!

Brees puts every game on his shoulders. He gets every snap and knows what to do.

So, we’re pissed when the media doesn’t give us the “respect” and now we’re pissed that they are giving us the “respect”.

Can someone let me know when we aren’t supposed to be pissed? I’m confused.

Overreacting? This team is really really good. They are not overreacting. I think this team is better than Phily and I want another shot at Minn and NE. I think we can beat both. LA, I haven’t been able to watch so I don’t know how the Saints would match up.

The eagles and rams have the two lowest strength of schedules in the NFL. The Saints have the third highest. This team is tested.

quote:

Toughest strength of schedules in the NFL:
1. Redskins - .634
2. Bears - .605
3. Saints - .563
T4. Chiefs - .543
T4. Falcons - .543
T4. Packers - .543

Easiest strength of schedules in the NFL:
1. Eagles - .390
2. Rams - .398
3. Titans - .407
4. Seahawks - .410
5. Cowboys - .439

I've never understood the pissed off feelings about not getting national attention. Fly under the radar as long as you can. It keeps unrealistic expectations and unwarranted pressure down.

I've never understood the thought that this matters one bit. Do y'all think that Saints players will check ESPN power rankings this week, see us ranked ahead of the Redskins, and half arse it? I understand that this may have a slight affect on college teams, but this doesn't happen in the NFL. The talent level is too close and these players are more mature.

Believe me. I and thrilled we are playing good football. I am just saying we still have a long road ahead. The vibe from the media and this board is that we are gonna run the table.
We still have a lot of divisional games which are always the hardest.

I know know. For the first time in a while this team looks like they are having fun out there. This is the best team chemistry I have seen from them in a long time. When a mistake is made, you see them on the sideline talking each other up and helping their men out instead of sitting off by themselves with their heads down. Just a different vibe out there this year. I highly doubt we run the table the rest of the way so i'm curious to see how they respond if we do lose a game. It just feels way different this year. It's amazing how this team has turn around so quickly.

Are you surprised that this board is all over the team? It's a collection of Saints fans. You could gut the team and fill it with 53 players from other teams practice squads, and there will still be a lot of people thathave faith in the team and think they will win 10, 12+ games. It's what fans do.

I have not seen any media memeers sayign the team would run the table, i.e., finish 14-2. What I have seen are media memebers that are saying this team is a legit super bowl contender and with the way they are playing right now should be the NFC favorites.

My buddy that works for the saints has been saying this... even after the New England loss, he said you can sense this team had something brewing. He’s never seen the locker room like this, not even in 2011 when the players truly believed they had a chance to win it all

I don't worry about this team buying too much into the hype.

This looks like the best, most balanced team we have ever fielded in the history of the Brees era. The hype is 100% warranted.

HOF QB (who isnt even the best part of the team which is crazy)
Top 5 defense
Top 5 offense
top 5 running game
amazing oline

When will you hop on the hype train if not now?

Especially when this is a down year in the NFL. There are good teams, but not many elite teams. The ones who do look elite are being headed by very young QBs who have a tendency of shitting the bed whenever they get to the playoffs.

The media can blow us for all we care. My only concern is the players keeping themselves in check.
