I'm always in awe of your photos so thats a large compliment coming from you.

Although getting good pictures almost felt like I was cheating in a place as beautiful as Croatia. I still feel like my photos do not do that place justice.

I really need to make a trip to Alaska in the next few years, it's high on the bucket list.

Are you going to be mailing anymore OB stickers? If so,what’s the cost?

That wasn't I. Somehow I got confused with someone else on the coozies and stickers.

I don’t think the admins care anymore. Just email me about it.

Great pictures Roger. The only place I've been that is remotely close to that type of awesome scenery is Coastal Maine.

This looks like a Bob Ross painting come to life!

Coastal Alaska is similar to Coastal Maine. Just has more mountains, fjords and glaciers.

Mendenhall Lake had a thin layer of ice yesterday morning. The lake gets cold winds coming off the icefield and usually starts to freeze before any other lake. It's been in the low 30's at my house, probably upper 20s there. Lake isn't far away but we have a lot of microclimates

Mendenhall Glacier. Lake water level dropping as the winter freeze sets in on the icefield.

Warming cabin on the lake, for cross country skiers and skaters

Another view of the cabin. Nugget falls across the Lake is around 300' high. Its the meltwater of the Nugget Glacier further up in the valley.

Winter hiking/x-country skiing
Fell and hurt my knee on ice coming down a trail a few weeks ago so I'm having to take it a bit easier this month.
