This happened to me. That chirping will stop eventually, possibly combined with the alarm going off for a bit, once the charge stored in the ?capacitor? runs out.
I have no idea what that electronic thing a ma jiggy is that stores energy and discharges after you cut power but yeah that thing.
FWIW, this was on a Volvo but same scenario as in OP.

Post again after you have the vehicle completely disassembled.

This usually indicates a GPS system independent of the car. My hunch is she is cheating and the SO has added a GPS to track her dirty ways. Do you know why your sister is fricking someone else?

In my past experience with electrical problems in a vehicle, it never ends. Burn it.

Ground out the actual vehicle battery.
Disconnect negative terminal for about 3 minutes then reconnect.
That will reset everything electrical on the vehicle.

Alarm continuously chirping could mean that the battery is going dead. I'm not sure of the model but some German cars around that time, and now too, have a starting battery under the hood and then a secondary battery, usually in the trunk. If you've disconnected the battery under the hood, try looking around the car for a second battery. Could even be under one of the seats. Good luck.

Curious, did you follow the procedures to start the car with a dead key fob? On mine, you touch the dead key fob to the start button then press start within 2 seconds. Or something like that.
