Arguably one of the greatest games in LSU history, and the debut of Mike VI.

Everyday Should be Saturday Game Review

My favorite game ever attended and the one I'll tell my grandkids about someday. The atmosphere in Tiger Stadium, particularly after the USC lost was announced, was unreal and electric like nothing I've seen or heard before or since. Crazy it's been 10 years already

Pretty crazy, on the broadcast Danielson says that it is his first night game in Tiger Stadium. What a game to have as your first.

Crazy, I can't believe its been ten years already. What a great game, I was sad that I couldn't be in attendance that night.

Incredible memory. I was a student at the time and I can vividly remember when the announced the USC loss, screaming our heads off, and holding our breath for the big third and fourth down plays. The craziest thing of all....LSU didn't blow most of their opponents away that year...won at the last second in several games....and then lost 2 games in OT. I had an incredible time that whole season tailgating and cheering on the Tigers (was a senior that year). Who knew we would go on to win a championship? While we aren't looking too great right now, and the future of the program is hanging in the balance.....I saw LSU win a Natty in the Dome as a student, so at least I have those memories to keep me company until we recover.

That review of the game makes me sad. Tiger Stadium sucks now in comparison

After reading that article, I really miss the old tailgating. Our gameday experience used to be so much better.

Got engaged that day then went on to experience one of the best Tiger Stadium atmospheres I've ever witnessed.

Me too. 22 at the time and tailgating with a small army outside of Tiger Stadium.

That just makes the pain of how far we've fallen and how far we have to go to get back there even more acute.

I was asked by a former student and his dad if I wanted to go to the game...I jumped at the chance.

We made the trip from Austin...had a great time tailgating and walking my former student (a Gator fan) around campus. He was Tiger-baited by grandma and grandpas, four year old girls and sorority girls. One man even offered to give him the shirt off his back to help him out of his Gator shirt. We loved it.

The game is the best sporting event I have ever been to.

I sat through Florida 58 - LSU 3 as a student, so, I could say I watched every bitter moment, so, when we were champions, I could say I knew a time when...

I am prepared to wait again...but just would rather not.

I passed out after tailgating all night around 2 in the afternoon. I woke up and it was 10 pm and looked like an Asian because of an allergic reaction.

One of the greatest days as a Tiger Fan. I remember going to gameday earlier in the day, and then going towards campus to buy ponchos in case it rained. On the way back I saw a line of 6 people at the doors of Jeff Boss Locker room. We jumped in line and next thing you know we are getting a tour of the Locker Room & Trophy Room. Later that night was the greatest game ever played in Death Valley. All of the 4th down conversions, Tebow taunting the student section, the stadium exploding when it was announced that USC lost to Stanford. When I left that game I knew it would be hard to top, and 10 years later it is still far and above the greatest game in Tiger Stadium.
