Did this board even care about the Yankees when they were struggling?

The Giants have won two titles in the last 10 years or so. Not like they are that deprived over there.

Of course. Ratings are up when Yankees and Red Sox are in it.

In the Yankees organization, anything less than a championship is disappointing.

They have a chance, but I hope they stumble against Cleveland. I'm itching to unload on Houston v. massively over-hyped Indians.

Hardly. An ALCS appearance would be very impressive for that squad, and would be ahead of schedule. That's a success.

They can lose this series and I wouldn't see the season as a disappointment.

In two years when they buy Harper and whoever else from that stacked FA class.

They aren't going to sign Harper.

They'll go all in on starting pitching. Their lineup is already more than good enough.

CC's nearly done and Rollins has underperformed. Not this year, but likely in the next 2-3.

I grew up in a spoiler era, watching the Yankees wreck shop in late 1990s/early 2000s. It was great. Now the expectations are sky high. Seems like they haven’t been relevant in a while even though Yanks just won a series in last decade
