I just heard about FNL earlier tonight. My girlfriend actually mentioned it to me. That really stinks. We all enjoy that show. Had to go download it.

It sucks Netflix really seems to be losing more good content (outside of their own originals)

I still have no issue with the pricing as it's still worth it IMO, but this seems to be the weakest lineup Netflix has had in some time.

I have noticed friends in Canada with netflix get a lot of movies we do not. Wish I could provide a ton of examples. ATM I can't really think of them all. I think some were silly/stupid comedies like ace ventura, and that's my boy.. not exactly big time movies, but I thought it was interesting they had quite a few that we in America don't get.

Has anyone already talked about if you have Tmobile they will pay 10 bucks of your Netflix bill? I signed up last month and they just charge me 3 bucks for premium,

What is the highest payment that you'd be okay with?

probably $20/month. Sure they don't have any originals as great as GoT, but time wise I spend so much more of it on Netflix. I don't care much for the "see what sticks" approach because it does seem like so much of the originals are garbage. With that said I think the following Netflix Originals are phenomenal:

Narcos
The Crown
Peaky Blinders
F is for Family
Bojack Horseman
Stranger Things
Black Mirror
Arrested Development*

Then you have second tier shows that are really great in their own right:

GLOW
Love
Wet Hot American Summer
Unbreakable Kimmy
Friends from College
13 Reasons
Master of None

NetFlix just has yet to find a show that can sustain success. They also have a rule where they want global distribution rights or they don't want the show. That limits what properties they are able to develop.

Plenty of scifi novels to develop from. Amazon is developing Ringworld, Snow Crash, and Lazarus currently. I know Netflix have streaming rights for The Expanse outside of the US and Canada. They should go for Old Man's War or Bobiverse IMO. Both fun are fun series that tackle interesting scenarios and philosophical questions without being preachy. I thought they may do a Star Wars universe show, but now I think Disney is saving something like that for their own streaming service.

Still cheap considering all the content they provide.
