Peninsula or Gulf Shores Golf Club

Playing Kiva one afternoon next week. Which one should I play in the AM?

I have never been disappointed with Gulf Shores Golf Club. Especially when considering price.

Country Club. Peninsula just doesn't do anything for me. It is always in really great shape, but has super wide fairways and isn't anything memorable or anything to write home about. The Country Club has always been a much more enjoyable round.

I've enjoyed all my rounds at both, but have played Peninsula more. Based on that I'd choose GSGC since I haven't played it as much. Can't go wrong with either though.

Peninsula is a harder course IMO. GSGC is more fun/easier. Ignore the old stater on 1 at GSGC. The course does not play 500 yards longer than the card says it does.

Thanks. My group is leaning towards peninsula. I may have to hit GC next trip. Looking forward to Kiva though.

It's a great course. Get a yardage book if you have never played it. There are some holes where you need 5w/6i due to a dog leg.

seriously, GSGC - better value - Peninsula only has one hole with any type of cool view of the bay.

Last month GolfNow had some great rates for Peninsula which is always $25/50 more than GSCC. I much prefer CC myself.
