The next week when I saw them play Wisconsin I realized LSU wasn't as good as I thought. Didn't expect this though.

My mother called after the BYU game all giddy. She and several other family members were on the Zero train. I told her we were not anything close to a good team and BYU was a dumpster fire. I got the Negatiger scolding. I told another really good friend I didn't see us winning 8 games this year after Chattanooga and I was very concerned about Miss St. He wanted to bet me money. I refused. I didn't want to win a bet that way.

BYU has had a fairly strong program over the years and I personally expected them to a pretty good team this year. So, after what LSU did to them in the first game, I thought this years LSU team would be a force to be reckoned with.

Hindsight being 20/20, I was completely wrong about BYU, and so far it appears that I was wrong about our Tigers as well.

Where were all you people during State week when 99.9% of the board were laughing at State fans who thought they could compete with us?

Actually after that game i could tell our defense wasnt going to be as good as they were last year. Not saying i am a professional at analyzing talent or football games but you could defiantly tell BYU was not good at all and LSU was young.

Buddy of mine(who is not a LSU fan) came up to me and said man LSU has a good defense. First thing i said to him was meh we will give a lot of big plays this year...i didnt think it would be like this though.

Check my posting history... Nothing like that exists from me.

I posted after the game that the BYU QB missed like 10 or more wide open throws. Literally throwing them at the WR/TE feet. It killed so many of their drives. If he would have been even somewhat competent that game would have been closer. We didn't have to do anything to win that game.

If you were saying this after the BYU game you should've been scolded. BYU has been a consistently solid program for the past few years, and we had a complete game on both sides of the ball.

Defense was great, offense was good, vs a team that's typically solid. Complaining after that game was just complaining to hear yourself complain.
