Armstead, Snead back. Breaux around the corner. .500 coming out of bye.

As bad as we thought it looked coming out of the Patriots game, we get a second chance this season. We finally get to see the offense at just about full strength and should have our full defensive backfield within a couple weeks.

We weathered the storm and this Lions game at home will dictate how the rest of 2017 will go.

Saints are playing like a top 5 NFL team right now

Looking more and more like a 10 or 11 win team

Most said if we could come out of the first 4 games 2-2 that would be a solid start.

I don't know if I'd go that far. Top 15 though. Borderline playoff team with a chance to improve.

I didn't realize John Kuhn was placed on IR before the game. I think the Saints need a FB, but what do they do?

I also think they need to trade or release Adrian Peterson.

The Detroit game will tell us a whole lot about this team. We have looked great the past two weeks. Detroit looks to be one of the top 3 teams in NFC this year. A win at home against that team and you will start hear people talking about the Saints as legit playoff contenders.

I started a thread this preseason projecting us to be 2-2 asking what everyone thought would be the most impactful game we played on the season. I said the Lions game because we've lost to them 3 straight years on the way to 7-9 and this game would probably be the one to put us over .500 and give us momentum coming out of a bye. Still true today, think this game will set the pace for the rest of the season. Won't be easy. Hopefully Sean Payton figures out how to use this bye to the team's advantage. He had a great record coming off of byes up until these past few seasons.

Really need to win this game I think because I don't like our chances in Lambeau the next week at all and we can't go 2-4

I don't know Miami is terrible and Carolina was pretty depleted and had a terrible game. I'll pump the breaks to see how we do against a legit playoff team in Detroit.

Can't believe I just said that about detroit

If not for a shitty call last week we would be tied with Atlanta for the division lead with a tiebreaker against the division leader. Let that sink in.

Hooman and Hill will be our FBs.

Don't think there is a FA out there that will be better than Hooman.

Need better clock management as well. What was that at the end of the first half?

Atlanta is about 2 from being 1-3. They're a good team, but I think we restore order in that rivalry this year.

Like someone else said, Lions game is huge because I don't see us winning at Lambeau. If we go to 2-4 that's not much different than had we started 0-4.
