I have an old gmc pickup and the registration jumped to $112. Is this part of the state closing the budget gap? I can't remember how much it used to be but I thought it was less than $50.

$112 for a four year? I think that is about right to be honest.

They still base cost off original price with no depreciation. Fair?

What else do you expect when you elect a Democrat?

I called the DMV because the registration on my truck was double the cost of my wife's car. The lady told me it was because it last twice as long. It's $56 for 2 years or $112 for 4.

I just paid $88 for a two year renewal. In EBR if that matters.

LOL. I just renewed my 2016 Buick Enclave and it was $823 for ONE year. When I registered it last year as new it cost over $1000 for ONE year.

Welcome to the great state of Mississippi where you just can't see any improvement in anything around here despite the high taxes.

Starting to hate Louisiana.

It feels like a poor, socialist state between the medicaid expansions and budget shortfalls.

Not to mention a huge chunk of the major cities are dumps filled with crime.
