I feel schools are seeing what LSU saw, and he will be relegated to a second tier job.

Yea, since Miles didn't do any good at LSU :roll eyes:

multiple SEC titles and a National title

Things change over years. Just because it was times for Miles to go doesn't mean he was the wrong hire at the time.

You people know nothing about football. Saban players and Jimbo won him a championship. With 2 losses at that. Pure luck. Les Miles is Larry Coker clone, a cancer that ate away at the program till it was no more. LSU is now a program stuck back in the eighties a nineties (irrelevant) thanks to the buffoon and incompetent Leslie Edwin Miles

I guess the 2011 year was all Saban. This was the best team LSU ever had despite not winning it all.

Let's hope your next 65 posts in the next decade are better.

Or you could step in front of a bus.

I disagree with this statement. Remove alabama and LSU could hang with anybody for 3 qtrs. over the last 5 years. Had Les miles hired a compotent OC a few years back lsu would be a top 10 team the last 5 years. Every LSU Hc hire seems to have to much loyalty to keeping their friends on staff to long. The good ones know when to cut ties before its to late.

You can thank Tyrann Matthew for that. Without him we lose 3 or 4 games easy. And what was the result of that great player and defensive team. AN EMBARRASING COACHING JOB OF EPIC PROPORTIONS for all the world to witness in his home state, 45 miles away from BR . His offense couldn't cross the freakin 50. It would have been better had we not made it. Nobody will remember the 11-1. So keep thinking LES (Larry Coker) was a good coach

Best decade in the HiSTORY of our program. But I see your point, not really.

So Mathew was the only reason for success in 2011 gotcha. Why was he at LSU and playing again. Once again, I know it was time for him to go. To discredit any success he had is just stubborn and shortsighted.

2003 dawg.

2003 was the best TEAM LSU ever had. Not a weakness on it.
Disciplined, strong, fast, never missed assignments, ran the ball well, passed effectively, a defense that was relentless. Offensive line that was punishing defenders at point of attack.

There are no elite jobs open right now in the SE where he has seen the most success, so he doesn't really have much of a choice, if he wants to coach again.

19-7 against Ron Zook.

The 2011 schedule ranks as #1 sos in the history of the program. 03 isn't even top 5.

Two coaches have finished AP #1 in the history of the program, Dietzal and Miles.

Riiigh... tell me which games those were, again? Only 3 games were within 13 points, 40-27 Oregon, 19-6 Moo State and 9-6 Alabama. Don't think he was much of a factor in any of those games.
