Does this game have the same feel as the 2012 build-up?

In 2012, Alabama seemed invincible. They were averaging over 40 on offense and giving up under 10 on defense. They crushed all of their previous opponents and there was discussion if they could beat a lower tier NFL team. LSU had already lost a game and struggled against others. Alabama entered Tiger stadium as a 8 pt favorite.

LSU was the better team for 58 minutes that night. As I've said before, there is no algorithm for a night game at Tiger Stadium. Crazy things happen. Here's to finishing the job this time.

I think this could be bigger, it's a new energy with Coach O. I think most believe this game will let us know how good we actually are.

I know this will get downvoted, and I hope it's not true, but I feel a rough one coming for LSU. I see the ultimate problem being the O-line and protection for Etling. My fear is that he'll be seeing a lot of the sky from his back.

If the D can keep the score low in the first half, there's a chance. If the O-line is stout, there's also a chance. Etling may still have INT issues though.

Just wanted to take this moment to post the SVP take on Tiger Stadium 2012. Still one of my favorite excerpts from all of sports radio.

Nothing wrong with your post. It's very possible this could be a long night for the Tigers.

The key is turnovers. Bama is thriving on them. If we don't turn the ball over, I think we can win.
